Community Worker - Home Care

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged Care clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Inner West and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably 3-5 days)  

Day to day this role looks like: 

Provision of quality personalised care to our valued aged care clients in their own homes through services such as: 

• General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing 
• Transport to appointments and shopping 
• Meal preparation 
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers 
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained) 

To be successful in this role you’ll need: 

• A big heart and genuine drive to provide high quality care 
• Strong communication skills, flexibility and resilience
• An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent - (not essential). You can complete this through our traineeship program
• 2 COVID vaccinations 
• Willingness to undertake a Police Check
