We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Procurement team on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, this role supports the procurement function through:

Business Analysis:

  • Analysis of current spending trends
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Developing KPIs to evaluate performance

Systems training:

  • Assisting the implementation of new processes and training staff, creating documents such manuals and video tutorials
  • Coordinate and provide training and support to new users of Basware.

Procurement business administration:

  • Assist in implementing and managing Procurement systems
  • Assist Procurement Category Managers with business-as-usual management of indirect Spend Categories

Experience and Skills required for the position:

  •  Minimum two years of experience with Basware
  • Minimum two years of experience in a Procurement Analyst or Business Analyst role.
  • High degree of business, technology, procurement and commercial acumen.
  • High level analytical skills and organisational skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to think laterally and conceptually with ability to think strategically and look for innovative continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative environment with high performing teams with high priority deliverables under tight timeframes and balancing competing priorities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with ability to build strong relationships, influence and drive change.
  • Extensive skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis/modelling, information analysis/modelling, planning, design, testing and system integration, using industry standard techniques in a complex aged care environment.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Experience in producing written training material and delivering confident and effective training to large audiences in both virtual and face to face sessions
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Accounts Payable process
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Experience in the Australian aged care sector and knowledge of the major Australian suppliers across a diverse range of categories related to the Aged Care sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree qualification or higher in either Business, Accounting or Engineering.
